This Tuesday, February 11, the Monrovia City Council will host the annual State of the City event at LOOK Cinemas (410 S Myrtle). The evening begins with a reception showcase at 6:00 p.m., where some city departments and community partners will host their own tables and booths with engaging activities and information. Then, at 7:00 p.m., City Council will begin the State of the City address and discuss a variety of topics, including the Eaton Fire, how the city is responding, ways we as an organization and community can support our neighbors in recovery efforts, a recap of the last year, and a preview of what's ahead for 2025.
