DESCRIPTION:<p>The Monrovia Measure K Citizen Advisory Committee is a five-member committee established by the City Council whose main responsibilities include monitoring the revenues and expenditures from the 0.75% local sales tax increase approved by voters on November 5, 2019. The Committee’s main responsibilities are as follows:</p><ul>    <li>Receive and comment on annual reports from City staff each fiscal year on revenues and expenditures from the sales tax; and</li>    <li>    <p>Review and comment on annual spending plans prepared by City staff.</p>    </li></ul><p><b>CITIZEN PARTICIPATION:</b> Your participation is welcomed and invited at all Monrovia Measure K Citizen Advisory Committee meetings. Time is reserved at each regular meeting for those who wish to address the Committee.
