Good morning, Monrovians,
The 2026 State of the City Address is moving to the Louise Taylor Performing Arts Center at Monrovia High School (845 W. Colorado Blvd). The event will still be held on Tuesday, February 10th and will begin with a reception at 6 p.m., offering time to connect with fellow community members. At 7 p.m., we'll head into the auditorium for the presentation by City Council. While the event will no longer take place in a movie theater, you can still expect a great show... and yes, popcorn, snacks and plenty of food will absolutely still be on the menu!
I would like to extend a tremendous THANK YOU to the Monrovia Unified School District for helping out the City in a pinch, as well as the amazing City staff I am privileged to work with each day. It is no easy task to change a venue like this with such short notice and I am just so grateful to all those who are working hard to make this happen.
I look forward to seeing you all there and hope you will bring your friends, neighbors and coworkers...we have many more seats to fill!
Sincerely,
Dylan Feik
City Manager
