City Manager's Update | March 27, 2026
Good morning, Monrovians!
It has been wonderful to see our community come together through One City, One Story and the shared experience of reading, learning, and connecting with one another! As the program enters its final week, I encourage the community to join us for a few special opportunities this weekend.
Tonight, everyone is invited to stop by the One City, One Story table in front of the Monrovia Chamber of Commerce from 6 to 7:30 p.m. to learn more about the finale event and even pick up a free copy of The Bear while supplies last. Then, at 7:30 p.m., the Sidewalk Astronomers will host a special stargazing experience in Canyon Park and educate attendees about the cosmos!

One City, One Story caps off with a finale celebration tomorrow, March 28, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Station Square! This family-friendly afternoon will feature live performances, nature crafts, music, raffles, and other fun activities for all ages, while also recognizing the partners and sponsors who helped bring this citywide reading journey to life. It will be a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the connections made through this special program and celebrate the many people who helped make it possible.
Have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Dylan
