Monrovia Days is our annual community birthday party where all Monrovians gather together to celebrate our talented youth and the Scholars and Champions from the Monrovia Unified School District.
The City of Monrovia, Monrovia Unified School District and Centre Stage Inc. are excited to announce the return of our annual celebration! The following activities are planned for 2026 on May 14, 15, 16 and 17: Monrovia Days Parade to honor our Scholars and Champions from the Monrovia Unified School District, performances by our youth, the Famous Merengue's Bakery Pie Eating Contest, live musical entertainment, beer garden, carnival food, games, and carnival rides.

Carnival wristbands are available for pre-purchase and can be collected at the check-in booth on the day of your choice.
Important: We kindly ask that you review the carnival ride guidelines provided below prior to purchase.
One Day
Pre-Sale: $15.00 | Day of (at Library Park): $20.00
Two Day
Pre-Sale: $25.00 | Day of (at Library Park): $30.00
Three Day
Pre-Sale: $35.00 | Day of (at Library Park): $40.00
- Pre-Sale prices will end on Thursday, May 14 at 11:59 p.m.
- Single Ride Tickets: $1.00 - will be available only at the event. Rides will vary from 1 - 5 tickets per ride.
- Ticket booths will open on Friday, May 15 at 4:00 p.m.
Important Guidelines:
- Unlimited wristbands are valid for the following activities:
- 10 carnival rides - each rides have restrictions on height and adult supervision.
- To enjoy rides, riders must be at least 36" to ride
- A toddler area will be available for those under 36" for free at the event
- 10 carnival game booths
- Photo Booth
- Jump Houses
- 10 carnival rides - each rides have restrictions on height and adult supervision.
- Pre-sale wristbands can be picked up at the Information Booth at the event. The booth will be location near the entrance of the Library.
- Single tickets can also be purchased only at the event. Rides will range from 1 - 5 tickets to ride.
- Ticket booths will open one hour before the event starts. All activities will begin as noted below.
- Wait Times & Closures: No refunds will be issued for long lines. Please plan accordingly—rides close promptly at the event end time, and being in line does not guarantee a ride.

Celebrating our Country's 250th Birthday,
Route 66 Centennial and the Western Theme!
Thursday, May 14, 2026 - 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
The Monrovia Days Parade will start at 7:00 p.m. on Myrtle Avenue at Olive Avenue, and will head north on Myrtle Avenue to Library Park. Priority will be given to Monrovia Youth Based Organizations. The following awards will be given to entries that display their best Monrovia pride!
- Monrovia Days Spirit Award! This trophy will be awarded to the school entry which best displays any of the following themes: Western, Route 66 or the Celebration of our Country's 250th Birthday!
- Best Musical Entry
- Best Float
- Judge's Award
- Most Unique Entry
- Best Overall Entry

- Wristbands allow for unlimited carnival rides, games, photo booth and jumpers.
- Must be 36" or above to enjoy the carnival rides. For those under 36", a Kidz Corner will be available that will include: gated play area, toddler slides, ball pits and other sensory play items.
- 1 - 4 tickets per ride. Single tickets will be available for purchase at the event. $1.00 per ticket.
- Wristbands/tickets will be needed for rides, games, photo booth and jumpers. Concession food/drink items are not included in wristband purchase and sold separately.
- Pre-Sale prices will end on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
- Please arrive early to enjoy all activities and carnival rides. Carnival ride lines may be long and some could experience 1-2 hour wait time.
- No refunds will be issued due to long lines and/or event cancellation.
