Each year, the City updates the Schedule of Fees and Charges by passing a resolution approved by the City Council. The fees and charges are related to specific services provided by each department (e.g., development fees, recreation fees, parking permit fees, etc.). Fees and Charges for Fiscal Year 2025-2026
Proposed In-Lieu Fee Pursuant to Ordinance No. 2025-03 Regarding Inclusionary Housing
The City’s Inclusionary Housing Ordinance (No. 2025-03) requires certain new residential projects to contribute to the City’s supply of affordable housing. Eligible projects may comply by paying an in-lieu fee instead of building affordable units.
Proposed in-lieu fee amounts:
- Ownership Housing: $29.40 per sq. ft.
- Rental Development: $24.50 per sq. ft.
