Meet the Administrative Services Director

Rae Bowman is responsible for overseeing the City’s financial assets and transactions, including budgeting, accounting, financial planning, payroll, utility billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and investments. Beginning her finance and accounting career in 2012, Rae has served in a variety of financial roles for the City of Monrovia, the City of Huntington Beach, and organizations within the commercial real estate and advertising sectors. Rae holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a Master’s degree in Public Administration from California Baptist University, and is a Certified Public Accountant. 

Outside of work, Rae is a dog mom and loves traveling whenever she can. She enjoys learning new hobbies like riding motorcycles, playing golf, and even learning to fly a plane. Rae also loves trying new restaurants and cheering on the Dodgers!
