Library Strategic Plan

The library's strategic plan was created in 2017 as a "living document" to guide our decisions and measure our accomplishments over the years. It is shaped by the community, library stakeholders, and staff. It's a vision of where the library should be in the coming years and how to get there.

There are six areas of focus:

Experiences - Establish a welcoming space where the community gathers to enjoy enriched experiences

Access - Enhance opportunities for the community to access the library and its resources

Partnerships - Establish strategic partnerships and increase community engagement

Technology - Enhance public access to state of the art technology tools and services

Image - Strengthen the perception of the library as a welcoming place for the community to gather

Staff Development - Develop ways to invest in our team to be their best in the delivery of programs and services to our community
