Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) is any leftover product that is labeled toxic, poison, corrosive ,flammable, combustible, or irritant, that you want to discard. Examples of these items include, antifreeze, batteries, cleaning supplies, unused non-controlled pharmaceuticals, fluorescent light blubs, used oils and more. These items must be properly disposed of at a hazardous waste facility.

One household item may seem insignificant, but when you look statewide, millions of similar products can create a major issue for our environment if disposed of incorrectly.
