Third-Party Payment Processor Fee for Credit Card Payments

The City of Monrovia will begin applying a 3.1% third-party payment processor fee for all credit card payments. This fee helps to cover the cost of providing this payment option, which the City has previously absorbed on behalf of customers. The convenience fee is equal to the actual amount charged by credit card processors used by the City.

Customers will continue to have access to no-fee payment options, including paying by cash or check. 

Software Technology Fee

The City of Monrovia has a non- refundable software technology fee of $10.00 that is added at checkout to all program and class registrations. This fee ensures the City recovers the true cost of service for our programs and classes.
