2025 Holiday Home Decorating Contest 

Calling all holiday home decorating lovers! All those who enjoy decorating their home for the holiday season, this contest is for you! Come join in on all the festivities and have an opportunity to win 1 of the 8 categories we'll be judging this season!

Some important information for the contest:

• Registration will close on Friday December 5 at 5:00 p.m. - please note if your home is best viewed during the day or at night
• All decorations must be in place by December 8 and visible from the street
• Judging will take place on December 9
• Addresses of all participating homes will be included on the Holiday Home Decorating Contest Map - which will be available to the public
• Winning homes will be provided a decorative yard sign to display for their award category and will be invited to the City Council meeting on Tuesday December 16

Categories

• Best Still Display - decorations with no movement
• Best Outdoor Display - overall best outdoor decorations
• Most Effective Use of Lighting - best outdoor lighting display
• Children's Choice Award - best display  that depicts a youthful theme
• Best Neighborhood Effort - street(s) with many homes decorated in a similar theme
• Santa's Workshop Award - best use of homemade holiday decorations 
• Holiday Spirit Award - most festive display
• Judge's Award - judges' choice
