Need a passport? Follow these steps to apply at the Community Center!

Call (626) 932-5598 to make an appointment for Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can also call the Community Center Mainline at (626) 256-8246 to make an appointment. 

Extended Hours: Monrovia Community Center Passport Office is excited to offer extended evening hours every Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. beginning July 1!

Processing Fee    
     

A $35 nonrefundable booking fee will be charged to book your appointment. The payment will be deducted from the total due at the conclusion of your appointment.

In addition to the $35 booking fee, a $10.00 Software Cost Recovery Fee will be added when making an appointment.

Getting a Passport:

1. Make an appointment for processing:
  • Please call the Passport Office at (626) 932-5598 for availability and to make an appointment. Appointments are on Mondays,  Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Additionally Tuesdays from 5:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m. are now available. A $35 nonrefundable payment will be required at time of booking. In addition to the $35 booking fee, a $10.00 Software Cost Recovery Fee will be added when making an appointment.  
  • We can no longer mail out DS-82 renewal forms for applicants. Passport Convenience fees are on a first come first serve basis, a fee of $41 per application will be charged. In addition to the $41 fee, a $10.00 Software Cost Recovery Fee will be added when coming in for a renewal review.  These reviews are available Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. based on agent availability. 

2. Fill out the form that is right for you:

  • Renewing Adults. Must have been over the age of 16 of last passport
  • Passport expired less than 5 years

  • Correcting a passport error
  • Replacing a Limited Validity passport within one or two years

3. Collect your supporting documents:

You’ll need:

  • Citizenship evidence
  • Identification
  • Proof of parental relationship (for children under 16)

4. Get your passport photo:

  • You will need one 2" by 2" color passport photo
  • Photos are available at the Community Center for $21.00 each

5. Calculate your fees:

  • Passport fees vary on a number of factors. Call a Passport Agent for more information on passport fees.
