 This exciting summer internships is designed for high school aged youth to gain real-world work experience, grow as leaders, and make a meaningful impact in their community. Interns will gain valuable job experience, develop professional skills, connect with motivated peers and mentors, and make a difference in their community.

 Eligibility Requirements

To apply, students must:

• Be 15 - 18 years old
• Be a resident of Monrovia or attend school in the Monrovia Unified School District

Program Details

The YES Program is an 8-week paid internship that places teens in various departments throughout the City of Monrovia. Interns will:

• Internship runs from June - August 
• Be matched with a summer mentor
• Attend weekly professional development workshops
• Receive hands-on experience at a city worksite
• Participate in orientation and mentorship sessions
• Complete a culminating project related to their assignment
• Present their work at the end of the summer program

This program builds career skills, community connection, leadership, and helping students prepare for future success.
